- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; less than 2 years experience accepted 2. Cases: Must have prior experience in urban Level I Trauma ED; teaching hospital preferred 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC, CPI preferred 4. License: IL RN license in hand required; Nursys within last 2 weeks; no license hits allowed 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; patient ratios 1:4 all shifts; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule 8. RTO: Maximum 3 days; no RTO first or last week of contract; 7 days max mentioned 9. Returning Staff: Former UCM, PRN, or Ingalls permanent staff must be gone 7 months to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; floating required 11. Background: Must use legal first and last name for background check and badge process 12.
