Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Burn patients with 0-100% TBSA burns; patients with limiting issues such as pain, surgical dressings; mobility and positioning to prevent contractures and scarring; outpatient PT evaluations and therapy if time allows 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid LA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every weekend and 1 day during week will vary; must be able to float inpatient 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Any Permanent Employee at any LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 75 miles away from facility or considered local rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 2-4 hours for Allied; non-billable; completed pre-start; vary by specialty; recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Accepts 1st time travelers 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Hoyer lift; private gym within burn center with therapy equipment Critical: DL/ID required with submission; address used to verify local/traveler status. Patient ratio up to 8 patients per day. Facility will accept PT or OT. Trauma Level I experience preferred.
