Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Variety of ultrasound exams including breast, breast biopsies, abdomen, renal, thyroid, pelvic/transvaginal, OB all trimesters including fetal anatomy scans, venous dopplers, carotid artery, and limited vascular exams 3. Certifications: ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or VT) or ARRT required; BLS required; Registry in Abdomen (AB) and Pediatric Sonography (PS) preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: VA or Compact license required with submission; VA License needed for Radiology positions at any MIF location (temp license fine for Stafford and Mary Washington Hospitals) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday 8:30-5p; no weekends required; no on-call required 8. RTO: Will need to add on a week at end of assignment if requesting more than 7 days RTO; at manager's discretion 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby depending on volume/census 11. Background: Nursys only 12. Modules: 8 hours average, completed pre-start via WorkRamp, non-billable, within 1 week of signing 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15.
