Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Shift: Days / 8a-4:30p, 8×5, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, with no call or weekends

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • 2+ Years Experience
  • Must have RDCS/RCS and RVT (ARDMS with RDCS and RVT and CCI with RCS and RVS are accepted)
  • BLS

Other Details:

  • 5 Rooms/5 Machines
  • 40-48 patients a day
  • Goal per tech is 8-10 scans a day
  • Float: Will float within scope to meet facility needs
About the Position
Position: EchoVascular Tech (Dual Cert)
Will work 5x8s, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with no call or weekends
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes
5 Rooms/5 Machines
40-48 patients a day
Goal per tech is 8-10 scans a day

Years of experience required? 2+ years experience required
Required Certs: REQUIRES DUAL CERTIFICATION – **must have RDCS/RCS and RVT!** (ARDMS with RDCS and RVT and CCI with RCS and RVS are accepted), BLS
First-time travelers accepted? Yes!
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers


Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit’s needs.
Local Radius: 60 miles
Locals Accepted: (Y/N): Yes, on a case by case basis
