- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; MUST have NICU experience; Level IV NICU trained RT willing to cover Adult floor, ICU, and Level IV NICU; well-rounded clinician experience in NICU and adult critical care settings required 2. Cases: Heart, lung, kidney, liver transplants; Cranis, oto patients, CABGs, TAVRs, ECMO patients, lung wedge resections; Level IV NICU patients (22 weeks gestation acuity); must have 2 out of 3 of the following — NAVA, High Frequency Oscillator, or High Frequency Jet experience (hardstop for NICU Float only); NAVA highly preferred 3. Certifications: RRT required; BLS required; ACLS preferred; NRP required; PALS preferred; WA state license required 4. License: Washington State Respiratory license required; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; Epic charting experience preferred per job qualifications 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 Nights; weekend coverage required as needed by unit; number of weekend shifts at manager discretion — must be flexible; on-call not required; floating within hospital required; floating to sister hospitals not permitted; block schedule not accommodated unless posting states otherwise; low census call-off up to 1 shift per 2-week cycle in 4-hour increments 8. RTO: 1 week max; minimal RTO accommodated; cannot accommodate RTO during first 2 weeks; only one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18-month separation before returning 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: Disclose any background hits at time of submission 12. Modules: Non-billable; completed pre-start; Allied: 2-3 hours; if WA suicide prevention training is required, an additional 6 hours of module pay added (required for those working with MSL in WA); recorded via transcripts by facility; compliance deadline is 3 business days prior to start 13.
