- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Primary role in Level 3 NICU; must be proficient in critical care of neonate including intubation (>22 wga), arterial blood samples, high-risk/low-volume bedside procedures; must also possess adult critical care skills including intubation, airway management, and arterial line insertion; CRT NOT ACCEPTED 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: GA RN or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; charting system experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend; no call; floating within hospital/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed 8. RTO: Max 7 days per contract; ALL RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests post-offer or onsite; if 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
