Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; Charge Nurse experience required; Outpatient Chronic and Acute experience required 2. Cases: Chronic Outpatient Dialysis and Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis required; Charge Nurse for 24-chair unit when assigned; Acute 8-station coverage; ability to run a 4-patient POD including stringing and setting up Fresenius machines 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: NY RN License required and must be in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Foreign education must be flagged to account manager at time of submittal for verification 6. EMR: Epic experience is a hard requirement 7. Shifts/Call: Monday-Friday 5:30 AM-10:30 PM; 8s, 10s, or combination of 8s and 12s; day/evening shift based on department needs; EOW weekends same hours; occasional Sundays due to holidays; guaranteed 40 hours weekly; float required to all other dialysis locations 8. RTO: Cannot submit anyone with more than 10 days of RTO 9. Returning Staff: 1-year return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted; locals beyond 75 miles offered at a lower rate 11. Background: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Billable up to 5 hours; total module time may reach 10 hours; any time exceeding 5 hours is non-billable; completed pre-start; vary by specialty; recorded via facility report 13.
