- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 18 months minimum recent ICU experience required 2. Cases: Adult Critical Care; skills include BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, mechanical ventilation weaning, tracheostomy care/management, ABG drawing and interpretation, intubation assist, extubation, and various aerosol/nebulizer therapies 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT (NBRC - RRT) required; PALS noted with asterisk 4. License: IN license required; Note - effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities (Allied travelers are exempt from this rule) 5. Education: Must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required (every other Saturday and Sunday); float required between Methodist/University/Fishers/Morgan locations 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9.
