- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 4 years required for submission (Tier 3 compliance notes 2 years, but job posting specifies 4 years); PICU, NICU, and Adult ICU experience preferred; PICU experience is a hard stop requirement 2. Cases: Respiratory therapy; Level 2 ER/PICU/NICU Trauma, CCU, Floor Therapy, High Acuity Population; Trauma Level II required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, PALS, RRT required; must be listed clearly on profile; ALL PICU, PEDS, and RRT submittals MUST include a copy of NRP cert at submission or will be rejected 4. License: AK license required prior to start; Compact license accepted at time of submittal for Acute specialties; must be valid state license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Nights with possibility to fill in day shifts; every other weekend required; no on-call required; float required within scope to CCU, Flex Unit, SDU, PEDS, PICU, PCU, FBS; guaranteed hours up to 36 (40 for OR on 12-hour shifts) 8. RTO: Must be listed on profile; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 2 years before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; minimum 100-mile radius rule applies 11. Background: Case by case approval; must be noted prior to submission 12. Modules: Billable; average 4-5 hours; completed onsite during orientation and annually; recorded via HealthStream 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
