- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; 3-4 years preferred in neurovascular 2. Cases: Intracranial thrombectomies, flow diversions, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, MMA embolization, carotid stenting, intracranial aneurysms, intracranial AVMs, carotid stenosis, intracranial large vessel occlusions, Kyphoplasty, hybrid intracranial aneurysm clippings 3. Certifications: ARRT R and BLS required; ARRT VI preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; Pyxis also used 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10, 0630-1700; call requirement is 1 night weekly and every 4th weekend; weekends consist of Fri 5p-Mon 6:30a 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing; RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite — call offs or additional RTO may result in cancel and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees (perm/PRN/EP) must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name and dates employed; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Locals within 50 miles accepted at a lower rate; current travel per diem clinicians are not eligible for travel contracts and must choose one — status and intent must be included in submission; travel pairs allowed but must be on different units and disclosed 11. Modules: Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be margined separately from orientation hours; acute care approximately 8-10 hours; non-acute approximately 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually; conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge 13.
