Experience: Minimum 1 year of direct experience in a similar role within an active interventional lab such as IR or EP lab required; Illinois license must be in hand at submission — emergency and pending licenses not accepted 2. Cases: Must be fully knowledgeable in cardiovascular procedural function including PTCA, Coronary Stenting, Intra-Aortic Balloon placement, Temporary and Permanent Pacemaker insertion, Atherectomy, IVUS, Thrombectomy (Pronto device), FFR/Pressure Wire, and Management of Arterial and Venous Sheaths 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS, CCI RCES required; PALS if required must also be through AHA; copies required at submission 4. License: IEMA Licensure and Illinois state license required and must be in hand at submission; emergency and pending licenses not accepted 5. Education: Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; BSN required for Northwestern Memorial Hospital; ASN or BSN accepted at all other facilities in the health system 6. EMR: Charting system experience required; any system accepted 7. Shifts/Call: On-call 6 to 7 days per month including a weekend; usually on-call 1 weekend per month; weekend requirement confirmed; 30-minute meal break 8. RTO: All time off must be included at submission; RTO cannot be added after submittal 9. Returning Staff: Northwestern Medicine and any acquired facilities must be included in employment history if applicable 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11.
