- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred; 1 year accepted only if candidate has full-time experience at a Level 1 Trauma and Children's Hospital with demonstrated OR and Fluoroscopic study experience. 2. Cases: Acute care imaging including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR; bedside/portable X-ray, trauma imaging, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow/esophagram required. 3. Certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS required. 4. License: Active SCRQSA license required; pending license not accepted. 5. Education: Not specified. 6. EMR: Epic experience required; minimum 1 year with Epic EMR. 7. Shifts/Call: SAT/SUN/MON 7am-7:30pm; no on-call requirement; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; floating required per Prisma Health policy to other units/campuses based on census. 8. RTO: All RTO requests must be submitted with the submission; approved only if confirmed by facility at time of booking. 9. Returning Staff: Travelers cannot extend for a 4th consecutive contract; after 3 consecutive 13-week contracts (39 weeks), traveler must begin converting to employee status or take a minimum 6-month separation before returning as a traveler. 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted; refer to Submittal Instructions for radius rule. General rule: 100+ miles from every Prisma facility for full bill rate; 90-99.9 miles accepted at 10% bill rate reduction. Exception 2 applies to X-ray Techs (allied): must be 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville); 50-99.9 miles = 10% bill rate reduction; under 50 miles ineligible. 11. Background: Not specified. 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start and annually; not included in NBO; recorded in transcripts by Prisma Health; time not entered into timecards.
