- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; specialty experience within the last year required 2. Cases: Telemetry/surgical floor; CVA, renal failure, pre/post hemodialysis management noted among skills 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS listed; PALS noted; ACLS, BLS, and PALS must be through AHA (American Heart Association) 4. License: VA license required to be in hand at submittal or provide proof of compact license 5. Education: NIH and stroke education required for RNs at all acute care Riverside Health hospitals 6. EMR: Epic experience required for all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health 7. Shifts/Call: Floating may be requested based on facility needs; patient ratios are 6:1 days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: Keep to a minimum; no requests for a full calendar week off during assignment; no more than 7 days total; all RTO must be submitted at initial submission; no additional RTO approved after offer is given 9.
