- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Strong general, ortho (total joints), and neuro experience required; big belly/crani/ortho trauma experience highly preferred; robotic training highly preferred 3. Certifications: BLS required; NBSTSA, NCCT, or Military OR Tech Cert accepted; must be AHA or equivalent 4. License: VA state license required; if traveler holds an out-of-state license, a 90-day authorization will be issued while VA license is being obtained 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, 11a-11p; rotating call with staff; weekend rotation with staff; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; must work one holiday per 13-week contract 8.
