- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: Wide range of surgical cases required; Pediatrics preferred; Bronchoscopes, Fiber Optics, and Flex Sigmoidoscopes required; facility performs everything except transplants and trauma 3. Certifications: BLS required; LA fire card within the last 30 days required (not reimbursed by Aya or facility) 4. License: CA RN license must be in hand at time of submission; does not apply to some allied positions 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; Mediteach is the charting system used 7. Shifts/Call: Call required 4-6 times per 6-week schedule; weekend call is included within that 4-6 count 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; anything over 7 days requires client approval; must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission; can only be submitted to one Providence facility at a time 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles considered local; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours 11. Background: Must disclose any license or background hits upfront at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved 12. Modules: Average 16 hours; non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; over 20 hours requires PM approval; time is self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13.
