Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• KY license
• 2 years of acute care RN experience
• Diploma or Associate Education desired
• Norton work history Docusign Required
• BLS
• NIH

Other Details:

• 34 beds Patient ratio: 4-5:1
• Top diagnosis/procedures: Pulmonary, sickle cell disease Common equipment used: BiPap, Vapotherm, specialty beds, IV pump, PCA pump, wound vac Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? No Common medications given: Antibiotics, Heparin, Blood, Pain meds, Nausea meds, Ativan Scrub Color (are they provided): Galaxy blue (they must obtain) EPIC Charting Required Skills: • IV insertion • Blood draws • PICC/Central Line management: • Dialysis Fistula: • Obtain 12 lead EKG • Cardioversion/defibrillation • CPAP/BiPAP • Trach Care • Epidural/PCA pump • Feeding tubes • Continuous bladder irrigation • Wound vac “
