Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele

Shift: Rotating D/N, 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • AK License 
  • Minimum 1 Year Experience
  • IV Insertion required
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIHSS, CPI preferred
  • 1 year of epic required
  • Facilitation skills preferred
  • Travel experience is preferred
  • Tele interpretation preferred.

MEDICAL RN

Start Date: ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements if candidate has AK license in hand).
Shift: 3×12 rotating. Will be working a mix of 12 hour days,
eves, nights. RN would be scheduled for the entire month either day or night. There may be an occasion it would be best to have them rotate. Perm staff do self-schedule, so the needs of the unit and skill mix is taken into consideration. Travelers can also schedule switch with perm staff if there are days that will work better for that RN.
Ratios: 1:4
Years of Experience REQ: Minimum of 1 year Required. Facilitation skills preferred.
Epic REQ? 1 year of epic required
First-Timers Accepted: Yes but Travel experience is preferred.
Weekend REQ: TBD
Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS, and PALS. NIHSS preferred.
Skills REQ: IV Insertion required and tele interpretation preferred.
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, Will float as needed.
Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD
Locals Accepted: No
Pending License Accepted: AK license needed. Will consider candidates without an AK license, but they will be booked 10-12 weeks out to allow processing time.
RTO Restrictions: No
Guaranteed Hours: 36 GWW
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Congestive Heart Failure, Orthopedics, Diabetes Mellitus, UTI, Hypertension, Pneumonia, GI Bleed, Renal Failure, COPD, Pancreatitis, AMS,Bowel Obstruction, BIPAP, Wound/ dressing changes (wound vac)
Common Equipment: walkers, canes, crutches, vital sign machines, glucometer, thermometer, bedside commode, shower chair, CPM machine (continuous passive motion), hoyer lift, sara steady (powered),nurse call system
