Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Psych ER

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW is mandatory

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • IA license
  • Registered nurses with 2 years of ER or psych experience. (as both pretty much every ER is full of psych patients these days).
  • BLS
Other details:
  • Patient population is children ages 5-12, adolescents 13-17, adults ranging from 18  and up. 
  • Unit ratios are 1 RN +1 RN/LPN (2 license nurses) for 12+ patients plus 2 mental health techs (day shift). We use a matrix for this and can share with nurse once hired.   1 RN and 1 MHT per unit from 11p-7a. 
  • Rrequire Handle with Care and will provide training for onboarding.
