Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Oncology 14 East/15West

Shift: Rotating D/N / 7a-7:30p, 7p-7:30a, 12×3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements: 
  • OH license
  • Minimum 1 Years experience 
  • Chemo Certification
  • Must have MS and oncology experience  
  • BLS
  • ACLS preferred
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification Oncology Certified preferred
Other Details:
  • Local radius: 60 miles
  • Locals are accepted 
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required – Medical Exemptions Only

BMT(14 & 15W) – Oncology – D/N OR NIGHTS – / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit

Experience: Must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum)

Patient Diagnoses:
• Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
• Acute Myeloid Leukemia (Adult)
• Amyloidosis
• Aplastic Anemia
• Chronic Leukemia
• Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
• Chronic Myeloid (Myelogenous) Leukemia
• Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
• Multiple Myeloma
• Myelodysplastic Syndrome
• Myeloproliferative Disorders
• Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
• Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells.
• Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.
• Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor.
• CAR-T Therapy

Certifications Required:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Certifications:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
Oncology Certified

Skills Required:
• MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
• Telemetry monitoring
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Feeding tube care and management
• Blood product administration
• Central line blood draw
• Peripheral line care/management
• PICC line management
• Nasal cannula administration
