Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Medsurg/Onc

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12×3, 36 hrs per week, EOW, Holiday as needed

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • ND License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • BLS
  • Prefer experience with trach and BiPAP
Other Details:
  • Charting System: EPIC
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Ok first time travelers
  • First to float
  • Will float to other MedSurg units, if go to tele- a tele RN will do their strips, ER holds occasionally, no mom baby
  • 50 miles radius
  • # of Beds: 31
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5,   Nights: 1:5-6
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Strokes (stroke unit, some acute, but not thrombectomies), HTN, COPD, Cellulitis, CHF, A fib non RVR, Chest pain, MI after ICU, Cellulitis, AMS/ behavioral, some Tele, surgical overflow- no joints or cranis, everything else, * * oncology (core staff to do chemo), no Onc provider in house current day
