Travel Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) – Newburgh, Indiana – 925284

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MedSurg – Neuro Surgical 48’s

Shift: Nights, 6:30p-7a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, EOH

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend/Holiday : 3 weekends out of every 6 week schedule

Requirements:

• IN/Compact license
• Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience
• 1 travel assignment
• Trauma level II experience
• Skillset: dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessements, basic tele interpretation, strict I’s & O’s/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain managemen, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.)
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• Recent Epic charting experience

• First to float within skillset
• Unit Information: 37 beds.  Ratio: Days 1:5-6; NOCs 1:5-7; CN takes partial patient assignment
• Patient Population:  Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients – CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, post-op cranis, cerebral angiogram. General medical and psych.
• Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required — Subject to change
• No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
