Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN -ICU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends a schedule period ( 4 week schedule period)

Requirements:

  • TX license
  • 2 years experience
  • Must have previous travel experience
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • NURSYS
  • Previous Charge Experience preferred
ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/NURSYS REQUIRED WITH SUBMISSION

NO LOCALS WITHIN 110 MILES
*Must have previous travel experience

• Certs required: BLS, ACLS, NIH
• Patient Population: General ICU, all ages
• Special procedures/unit details/Patient Ratios: 1:2 ratio, general icu that takes everything,
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends a schedule period ( 4 week schedule period)
• 2 years preferred

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU).
