Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ICU 48’s

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×4, 48 hrs per week, no call

Length: 13 weeks

Weekends : every other weekend unless staffing dictates less of a requirement if traveler wants more than 50% weekends- can accommodate

Requirements:

  • MO /compact license
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Skills required: Impella experience, Balloon pump experience, Stroke care, STEMI care, etc.
  • First time travelers accepted: Yes, if have at least 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 Center
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • EMR: Meditech experience is strongly preferred, but the ability to quickly learn is necessary if not expanse experience

Other Details:

  • Floating : Will staff ICU & TELE Units
  • Unit scrub color: Navy Blue
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed

Facility Requirements:
First time travelers accepted: Yes, if have at least 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 Center
EMR: Meditech experience is strongly preferred, but the ability to quickly learn is necessary if not expanse experience
Block scheduling allowed: Not guaranteed, manager will review. Blocked schedules over weekends are more doable

Intensive care unit travel nurse jobs, otherwise known as critical care unit (CCU) travel nurse jobs, specialize in providing care to the most acutely ill patients in the hospital. An ICU travel nurse might work in ICU burn unit, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICU, post-op, surgical ICU (SICU), trauma ICU or cardiovascular ICU (CVICU). Critical care nurses may also care for age-specific patients in the pediatric ICU (PICU) or neonatal ICU (NICU).
