- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1-2 years preferred; first-timers accepted 2. Cases: Nephrology Telemetry; patient diagnoses include COVID, unstable cardiac (HF, a-fib, MI, etc.), renal failure 3. Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS required for Barnes-Jewish Hospital location; all RNs must obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: MO license can be submitted without license; IL license required in hand at submittal; compact license must match permanent residence 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift; patient ratios 1:5-6; weekend requirement 2 shifts every other weekend (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for nights); guaranteed 36 hours for 3-12s; no on-call required; may float within service line 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ days requires manager approval along with holiday RTO); no new RTO after submission; no RTO first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break in service required; permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 75-mile radius rule; no local candidates or travelers accepted within 75 miles (except PCTs, CNAs, MAs) 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required for RNs; billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of contract signing and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13.
