- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have 2 years experience in a large, urban hospital (first-time travelers not accepted; will consider if traveler has 2 years at a Level I Academic Medical Center) 2. Cases: MS/Tele; drip experience required on all floors — Required: Nitro, Heparin, Insulin (non-DKA); May Encounter: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Argatroban, Bivalirudin, Lasix; screen and call out if no drip experience 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Nebraska RN State License required; pending license accepted, but if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour options; float required every shift within scope, including potential float to Bellevue Medical Center campus (16 minutes away); weekends: 4 out of 8 possible in a 4-week period (Days: Saturday/Sunday; Nights: Friday night/Saturday night); Trauma Level I experience required 8. RTO: Must be submitted with application; up to two weeks permitted; no RTO during first week of orientation; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion 9. Returning Staff: First-time travelers not accepted 10. Travel/Local: Locals NOT accepted; candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving 11/24-11/26, Christmas 12/24-12/26, New Year's 12/31-1/2); holiday requirement must be submitted with application.
