- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must be familiar with intermediate medication drips (heparin, nitro, cardizem, insulin, etc.); Charge Experience required 2. Cases: Chest pain, Abdominal pain, Atrial Fibrillation, TIA, Anemia/GI Bleed, Dehydration/AKI, Syncope, Vertigo, COPD, Asthma, UTI/Pyelonephritis, Headache/Migraine, CHF, Seizure, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, Pancreatitis, Cellulitis, Post-outpatient surgery complications; Observation Medicine experience preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (standard compliance) 4. License: No pending licenses accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; floating within service line and between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park, and Wildwood facilities as needed; block schedule not accommodated; schedules subject to change with two-week notice from facility 8. RTO: RTO greater than 7 days requires Management approval; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: No local travelers within 50 miles or less accepted 11. Patient ratios are 1:4 on all shifts. Level I Trauma Center experience preferred. First-time travelers with prior Level 1 or 2 trauma experience must be specifically screened and flagged during submission.
