- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years of NICU Level 3 or higher required 2. Cases: NICU Level 3 or higher; patient diagnoses include ELBW (22.6 weeks and up), RDS, TTN, HIE, Stable Cardiac, Sepsis, Hyperbili 3. Certifications: BLS and NRP required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (per standard); copies required at submission 4. License: CA RN License required; pending state license accepted if ETA from licensing is provided 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: September 28 start only; 3x12 variable Day/Night; no on-call required; must be available to work weekends with full flexibility (may be scheduled 3 out of 4 weekends in a 4-week period); floating mid-shift required (not regular but must acknowledge and agree); float to sister facilities: Rady Main Campus, Scripps Encinitas, Rancho Springs, Palomar, Scripps Mercy; mileage reimbursement provided from home location; will remain in NICU scope only 8. RTO: 6 days RTO max; must work 2 of the following 3 holidays (including Eves): Christmas, and either New Year's or Thanksgiving 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
