Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of CVPICU experience required (recent, leading up to assignment); previous children's hospital cardiac intensive care experience required 2. Cases: Post-op cardiac surgical care, cardiology, congenital heart issues, heart transplants; high acuity unit; 60% infants, 40% toddler through young adult; travelers do not take patients during immediate post-op period 3. Certifications: BLS and PALS required; must be AHA or equivalent (confirm at submission) 4. License: CA RN License required; pending license accepted if ETA from licensing is available 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Variable 12-hour Day/Night shifts; 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (nights: any combination of Fri/Sat; days: Sat/Sun); no on-call required; willing to float within scope required; block schedule not accommodated; November 9 start only 8. RTO: Maximum 6 days RTO; traveler must still work 3 shifts per week; no Christmas Day or Christmas Eve RTO accommodated; must work 2 of the following 3 holidays (including Eves): Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's 9.
