Requirements

- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 6 months of cardiac step-down or telemetry experience in last 2 years (preferred) 2. Cases: Cardiac step-down/telemetry patients; includes post coronary intervention, femoral sheath removal, post permanent pacemaker placement, post AICD placement, and stable acute coronary syndrome 3. Certifications: BLS required (AHA or ARC per AH policy); ACLS required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS per AH policy); NIHSS required within 6 months of hire; Basic Dysrhythmia Course preferred; Critical Care Course preferred 4. License: Current RN license in state of practice required 5. Education: Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred 6. EMR: Not specified 7.
