Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Telemetry/step-down experience required; cardiac diagnoses including CHF, arrhythmias/A-fib/A-flutter, ACS-STEMI/NSTEMI, heart valve disease, CAD, pulmonary hypertension, hypertensive crisis, chest pain/shortness of breath/syncope, pacemaker/AICD malfunction, acute renal failure, pulmonary HTN 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: No on-call required; every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday); clinician will float within scope; block schedule not accommodated; ratios 1:4-5 days and nights 8. RTO: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; 75-mile radius rule 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 24 orientation hours; Relias EKG test required 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Cardiac drips and EKG experience necessary. Parking costs $15/day or $70/month. Guaranteed hours provided. Facility is a Magnet and Teaching Hospital, Level I Trauma Center with 1,273 staffed beds.
