Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of clinical nursing experience required 2. Cases: General medicine issues including opioid abuse, organ failure, change in LOC, behavior issues, MRDD/delay issues 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Active Ohio RN license or valid compact license required in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s nights schedule, weekdays and some weekends; 3-4 weekend days per month required; float required to different units within OSU organization as needed 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once they have been away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any OSU hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; Ohio fingerprinting process required urgently after contract signing 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience a plus 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Mixed med-surg PCU unit with 6 med-surg PCU transitional beds; chest tubes, PICC lines, IV equipment Critical: Patient ratios 4:1 all shifts. 36 orientation hours. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director. IV certification required. Must complete fingerprints immediately after signing contract.
