- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; 1st-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Dysrhythmias, CHF, acute onset stroke or stroke symptoms not requiring TPA or critical care, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Myocardial Ischemia; intermediate level and medical surgical patients; adults to geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; Pyxis also in use 7. Shifts/Call: Self-scheduling; 1:4 ratio days and nights; 12 beds; every other weekend required; floating within facility and scope of practice as needed 8. RTO: ALL RTO must be finalized at time of submission; max 7 days per contract; no RTO or schedule requests post-offer or onsite. Holiday RTO: If 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler. If canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
