- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 2 years PACU in Level I Trauma required (hard stop); ICU/critical care required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Post cardiac surgery, lobectomy, chest trauma, ex-lap and splenectomy, and trauma patients required. Surgical recovery includes Neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant. Does NOT recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CCRN and TNCC preferred; must screen if missing required skills 4. License: Pending license accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 0730-1800 in PACU IR pre/post; no weekends, no holidays, no call; night shift must be willing to learn pre-op patient workup; unit open 24/7; guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; no holidays approved 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; home address must be at least 75 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Must pass Relias EKG exam prior to start 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required; first-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Screen all candidates missing required skills or who do not have 2 years Level I Trauma ICU experience. Charge experience preferred. Patient population includes adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.
