Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required for submission (1 year listed under job requirements — defer to the stricter 2-year requirement stated in submission details) 2. Cases: General Surgery, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Cataracts, Endoscopic Procedures (Colonoscopy, EGD, Bronchoscopy), Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pediatric General Surgery 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred; NIHSS listed; BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through American Heart Association (AHA); copies required at time of submittal 4. License: WV or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted for submission; Nursys pulled within 2 days of submission date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8s, 7:00a-3:00p, Mon-Fri; on-call every 4th weekday and every 4th weekend, some holidays; must be within 30 minutes of facility while on call 8. RTO: Must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler; current Vandalia Health System employees (perm, PRN, etc.) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system (includes CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) 10. Travel/Local: Candidates must have a permanent address 100+ miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable; average completion time 2-6 hours; completed prior to start date; requirements vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Preferred 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15.
