- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have experience working in a critical access hospital 2. Cases: OBGYN, Ortho, GI/GS, ENT, Pain, Dental, C-sections (must be able to circulate C-sections — hard stop); General OR, Ambulatory surgical center cases; full perioperative coverage including Pre-op, PACU Phase I and II, Endo, and OR 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (asterisked), PALS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (per Tier 3 compliance standards) 4. License: Valid MT or Compact RN license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required (charting system experience listed as required) 7. Shifts/Call: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (4 days/10-hour days possible); on-call required — 8 shifts/month including 3-day weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun); every 3rd or 4th weekend required; 48-hour schedules not approved 8. RTO: All RTO must be listed at time of submittal; post-submission RTO will NOT be approved; inflexibility may lead to contract termination and system DNR; only one pre-approved time off; one holiday may apply 9. Returning Staff: Return Providence staff must wait 3 months before submitting as a traveler; candidate must disclose any prior work at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission 10.
