Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of current acute care OR experience required 2. Cases: Must be able to Circulate and Scrub; Robotic and ENT experience required; Ortho, vascular, general, thoracic, neuro experience required; Patient Mix: All OR specialties except Open Heart 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; all certifications required at time of submission unless otherwise specified 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting system; EPIC experience required for night OR 7. Shifts/Call: Call 2x per schedule; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: Screenshot of candidate confirming RTO schedule requests required upon submission; requests with less than 7 days of RTO and no holiday time off prioritized; must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays; RTO requested after offer will NOT be accommodated 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone from health system minimum of 1 year before eligible to return for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or License Hits NOT accepted 12. Modules: Non-billable; 4 hours of EPIC training and up to 18 hours additional; RN average 18 hours; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: Submit work history Scrub and Circulate skills checklist Critical: Labs MUST be completed 48 hours of signing. Level 2 Trauma Center. Must float within skillset. Maximum 3 submissions per candidate per facility.
