- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: At least 1 year required 2. Cases: Ortho, general, gyne, podiatry knowledge and skills required; extensive OR case list including total joint replacement, laparoscopic procedures, C-sections, cholecystectomy, arthroscopy, hernia repair, and trauma among others 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required 4. License: Compact license must be in hand at submission; facility does not accept Nursys hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required 1-2 days per weekday (1500-0630) and 1-2 weekends per month; weekends not required; 48-hour shifts not approved; block scheduling; 0 NBO hours 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD); all RTO must be requested upfront at submittal; post-submittal RTO may not be granted; inflexibility may lead to termination and DNR 9. Returning Staff: Can return after 3 months; must disclose any prior work at a Providence facility (location and dates) at submission 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals accepted at lower bill rate; bill rate is firm; can only submit to 1 Providence facility at a time; travelers may be expected to float to sister facilities and refusal may result in termination 11. Background: Facility does not accept background hits or DUIs; must be disclosed prior to submission 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; recorded in Workramp transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Required 14.
