Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required per job header; 2 years listed in VMS fields — ONS chemo-certified nurse with infusion experience specifically requested 2. Cases: Oncology patients receiving treatment requiring symptom management; Theranostics Infusion Clinic; Research 3. Certifications: BLS and ONS/OCN (Chemo - ONS/ONCC) required; ACLS preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s, 7:30AM-5PM; no call; no weekends; patient ratio 4:1 days 8. RTO: RTO must be submitted with submission and built into contract; pre-approved time off listed as two; screen candidates for vacation time immediately after booking due to fingerprinting delays 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current Ohio State University hospital employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; candidates outside Ohio within driving distance must drive to Ohio fingerprinting location; extreme-distance travelers will be mailed a fingerprinting packet 11. Background: Ohio fingerprinting required immediately upon signing contract; strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start — no exceptions; unresponsive or uncooperative candidates risk push/cancel 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — medical exemptions only; COVID-19 vaccine not required 16. Special Equipment: Amino Acids and Therapy Pumps; infusion pump management; accessing/managing ports Critical: Candidate must complete Ohio fingerprinting as soon as contract is signed. Two professional references required — at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership; charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted. This clinic does not require EKG testing. Float between multiple clinics required.
