- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of experience in specialty required for submission 2. Cases: MS/Tele, CVA, Post TPA care, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post neurosurgery, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Renal failure, Seizure disorders, Substance Withdrawal, Bariatric surgery, ER Holding, among others 3. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS, AVADE Level I & II required; copies required at submission 4. License: Active WV or compact license required in hand at time of submission; no exceptions; driver's license required in submission packet with address matching permanent address 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech 7. Shifts/Call: 84 hours per two-week period (one week 3x12, next week 4x12); every other weekend required; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated; travelers who cannot accept this schedule will be cancelled 8. RTO: Up to 7 days considered; must be presented upfront with no changes accepted; must work either a major or minor holiday every holiday 9. Returning Staff: After working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break from the system before being eligible to return 10.
