- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Circulate, scrub and charge experience required; must have experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro (specifically craniotomies); Level 1 trauma center OR with high volume ortho, trauma and spine cases 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required 4. License: Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner is most common 7. Shifts/Call: 3 x 12 hour nights 1900-0700; up to 8 weekday shifts, up to 9 weekend call shifts with 30 minute recall 8. RTO: Unit manager approval required; can auto approve 5 days or less as long as not on holiday; must work 2 out of 3 holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation 9. Returning Staff: Previous PERM/PRN/EP staff must wait 12 months; return travelers ineligible if cancelled previous contract within 10 days of start; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted 11. Background: If lived/worked in GA, NV, NH, MA, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands must complete required state releases; international searches not required 12. Modules: Billable for all hours, average 6 hours; completed during first week of orientation; recorded by LMS transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided for OR RNs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Hana Table, various electrosurgical units and laparoscopic equipment Critical: Must have Level I trauma experience (will consider highly skilled clinician with recent Level II trauma experience in like-size/larger facility). Must go into lab within 72 hours after signing. Two professional references required.
