Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of OR RN experience required 2. Cases: Must have experience with ophthalmology and liver transplant; Must have experience with 2 out of 3 service lines: Neuro, Ortho, or Robotics 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Variable shifts (days/evenings, 8s, 10s, or 12s); Call required M-F 2100-0630, Saturday and Sunday 12 hours 0630-1900 and 1900-0630; 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeks as needed; Holiday/weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; Current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; Will be required to float to different units within OSU organization as needed 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start; Ohio fingerprinting process required urgently after contract signing 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Level 1 trauma center experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: Level 1 Trauma 18-bed Operating Room with various surgical specialties Critical: Hard stops for ophthalmology and liver transplant experience. Must have 2 out of 3 service lines (Neuro, Ortho, Robotics). Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director.
