- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years strongly preferred; first-time travelers accepted; scrub experience strongly preferred 2. Cases: Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics (Level I Trauma Center); RNs trained to both scrub and circulate 3. Certifications: BLS required; Radiation Badge required (provided by agency); must be AHA or American Red Cross (implied by standard compliance) 4. License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required; MUSC prioritizes candidates with SC license in hand; pending license considered with proof of application or SC walk-through confirmation; traveler will not be cleared until SC license is active 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s, Mids (10:30a-11p); on-call up to 2 call shifts per month (7a-7p or 7p-7a, Saturday or Sunday); up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks; traveler required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas or New Year's); may float within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; auto-offer eligible if 7 days or less of non-holiday RTO; 7+ days or any holiday RTO requires facility approval and may delay process; only one holiday period will be required to work 9.
