- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years OR experience required; no first-time travelers accepted; Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center experience is a HARDSTOP 2. Cases: General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics are HARDSTOPS; additional helpful (not required) experience includes CT, TX, burn, Ortho, Sports Med/Hand/Foot/Ankle, and vascular; ability to circulate emergent craniotomy required; scrubbing spine from Level 1 trauma center preferred 3. Certifications: AHA BLS required 4. License: CO RN License or Compact RN License required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience is a HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour shifts, 0645 starts with occasional floats to 0845 and 1045 starts; occasional float to nights, no more than 3 shifts per contract; on-call approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule period; weekends as needed; float to other UCH ORs required; no blocked scheduling requests 8. RTO: 10 RTO days max per 13-week contract; RTO not allowed during: June 28-July 9, 2026; September 2-12, 2026; October 25-November 4, 2026; November 22-December 2, 2026; December 20-January 3, 2027; flexibility may be considered for harder-to-fill positions 9. Returning Staff: Any resource who completed a full year on assignment must not be rebooked for at least one year; candidates who have applied to UCHealth internal Travel or Perm staff positions within the last two years will be placed on DNU list 10. Travel/Local: Locals within 75 miles of facility accepted at local bill rate of $96 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; factored into 20 hours of NBO; average 4 hours; must be completed within first week of assignment; recorded by facility report or transcript 13.
