- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: 25 surgical cases daily; CVOR, CABG, TAVR, MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Carotid Endarterectomy, TEVAR, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, and various vascular procedures 3. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; CNOR and TNCC preferred; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: GA RN license or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12-15 call days per 6-week schedule, including minimum of 2 weekends; floating within facility/scope of practice including Main OR and Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed; 24 orientation hours 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days per contract; ALL RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests post-offer or onsite. If 1-2 holidays fall during assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested; if 3 holidays fall during assignment, 1 holiday RTO may be considered. Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day 9. Returning Staff: Perm/Per Diem/FCSS must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year before applying as a traveler; if canceled or facility DNR, traveler must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying and ensure profile reflects all time worked at Piedmont Health 10.
