- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of ambulatory oncology RN experience required; chemo knowledge required; hepatobiliary and surgical experience needed for post-op triage 2. Cases: Oncology patients (pediatric to geriatric); Hematology Oncology (CARt/BMT/Stem Cell Transplant); Solid Tumors (GYN, GI, GU, Breast, Thoracic Oncology); surgical clinic procedures including excisional biopsy, JP drain, wound vacuum care 3. Certifications: BLS required; Chemo cert (ONS/ONCC) preferred; OCN preferred; all certs must be in hand at time of submission 4. License: Valid permanent CA RN License required; must be in hand at time of submission; no pending or temp licenses accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting system experience required; specific system name not listed 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8s, Monday-Friday; shift start/end times may vary based on department needs; no weekends; no float; no on-call; no scheduling requests accommodated 8. RTO: Maximum 2 weeks total; no RTO within first 2 weeks of assignment; up to 2 pre-approved time off weeks 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent employees must be separated for 24 months before eligible for travel positions at all Cedars-Sinai facilities (except CSMN, which requires 12 months); all past Cedars employment must be included on profile; applies to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Cedars Marina Del Rey, Torrance Memorial, CSMN, Huntington Health Physicians, and Huntington Hospital 10.
