- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: General Med/Surg patients, adults and geriatrics 3. Certifications: BCLS required; CPI preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12HR nights 18:45-07:15; call required if put on call prescheduled shift 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Pre-start modules factored into first 24 hrs of NBO; Acute Care ~8-10 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually; conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge 13.
