- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required 2. Cases: Med Surg patients including trach and laryngectomy patients; must be willing to take up to 1:7 ratio if needed 3. Certifications: BLS required; AHA and Red Cross only - RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have active IL license in hand to apply 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 (0645-1915); will work every other weekend; no on-call required; will float as needed 8. RTO: Manager will review and decide; only 1 winter holiday off; auto-approve 5 or less days non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no radius restriction for this specialty 11. Background: Background check hits/review must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; completed pre-start; strict deadlines - must complete by 4PM CST on Day 1; first day is virtual at-home 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Any solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: PICC line management and Starting IVs required; various equipment including continuous pulse ox, feeding tube pumps, IV infusion pumps, wound vacs, PCAs, suction devices, bladder scanner, lift devices Critical: Must complete compliance (lab appointment, DocuSign, badge photo) within 1 week of signing contract. Guaranteed hours allow up to 36 hours call-off per 13-week assignment.
