- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: PICC line management, trach and laryngectomy patients (experience not required but must be willing); special procedures include dressing changes, drain removals, NGT insertion, central line dressing, blood transfusions, ostomy applications, CBI, suction of trach/laryngectomy patients 3. Certifications: BLS required; Stable listed as additional certification 4. License: Active IL license required in hand at time of application 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 (0645-1915); no on-call required; will float as needed within scope; every other weekend required; block schedule not accommodated; guaranteed hours with client call-off limited to 36 hours per 13-week assignment 8. RTO: Manager reviews based on unit schedule; only 1 winter holiday off permitted; if RTO falls on a weekend, traveler will be scheduled an additional weekend to make up for time away 9.
