Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Daily caseload per tech not specified; inpatient and ER patient load; trauma experience required 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT), ARRT R, ARRT Advanced Cert required (HARD STOP); NRP cert copy required for PICU, PEDS, RRT submittals 4. License: Compact accepted at submittal but must have AK license prior to starting for Acute specialties 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner required; EPIC preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Thursday-Saturday 0700-1930; on-call required 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; needs to be listed on profile 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 2 years before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile minimum radius rule; locals not accepted 11. Background: Case by case approval 12. Modules: 4-5 hours average; billable; completed onsite during orientation and annually via HealthStream 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Any color or pattern; L&D/OR provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: GE and Toshiba equipment Critical: COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions. Cultural sensitivity to Alaska Native population required. Guaranteed 40 hours. 12-hour orientation.
