Cases: Medical/surgical unit focused on new technologies and innovative nursing practice; patient diagnoses include cellulitis, pneumonia, dementia, renal failure, malignancy, failure to thrive, GI bleed, alcoholism, overdose, anemia, UTI, sepsis, diabetes management, COPD, wound care, cirrhosis, COVID, hip fractures, ureteral stones (lithotripsy), joint repair, vascular, pneumothorax 3. Certifications: BLS required; must be AHA or American Red Cross (per standard policy — note: AHA requirement not explicitly stated in these notes); copies required at submission 4.
