Requirements
- Required certification: Med/Surg
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of Med/Surg experience required; Stepdown/PCU experience required as nurses will float to PCU unit as needed 2. Cases: Oncology, wounds, sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, chest pain, AKI, dialysis, ETOH, liver failure, end of life care, overnight GYN surgeries 3. Certifications: BCLS/BLS required; IV start required 4. License: Must already be SC licensed; facility will not accept any license hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Weekdays, every other weekend, float, holidays as needed; Patient ratio 6:1 days/nights/weekends; float to PCU and Med/Surg 8. RTO: Pre-approved time off: two (slots) 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 50 miles from facility; first-time travelers accepted 11. Background: Facility will not accept any background hits or DUIs 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Preferred 14. Scrubs: Royal blue/white; not provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required; Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16.
